Introduction

The SAW-96 Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction Station (hereinafter referred to as “SAW-96”), produced by Jiangsu Bioperfectus Technologies Co., Ltd., is an in vitro diagnostic medical device that integrates advanced mechanical, electronic, and software technologies. The SAW-96 combines in a single equipment the functions of sample loading, nucleic acid purification, and PCR preparation. The typical run time is less than 70 minutes for 1–96 samples. Based on experienced magnetic separation technology, the SAW-96 offers high-throughput automation combined with high performance, promoting greater laboratory productivity to meet variable demands. With contactless dispensing of samples, reagents, and PCR reagents, the system is safe and simple for operators, while saving time and costs for the laboratory.

Scope of application

The equipment is intended for automated extraction workflows. It enables automatic operations from primary sample tubes to nucleic acid extraction and PCR preparation.
