Introduction

Mycoplasma hominis (M. hominis) is present in the urinary and genital tracts. It is one of the most common pathogens responsible for urinary tract infections and genital inflammations, especially in the female genitourinary tract, and can cause various urogenital diseases. The main transmission routes for Mycoplasma are sexual contact and vertical transmission (mother to child).
