Introduction

The COVID-19 Coronavirus (ORF1ab/N/E) Real-Time PCR Kit is an In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) reagent based on fluorescent PCR technology, developed for the qualitative detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in upper and lower respiratory tract samples.
The primers and probes are selected from the ORF1a/b, E (envelope protein), and N (nucleocapsid) gene regions of SARS-CoV-2.

This kit is a multiplex assay, performed in a single well/tube, designed to detect and differentiate SARS-CoV-2 RNA.
Additionally, the kit contains a constitutive human gene (RNase P) as an internal control for detection in clinical samples.

The product is intended for use in individuals suspected of SARS-CoV-2 infection as a diagnostic aid and should be operated by professionals trained in RT-PCR.
